The initial installation of the Command Center will take less than 15 minutes.  Typically, the distribution and installation of agents occurs at a rate of approximately 100 endpoints per hour.  The duration of the installation process depends upon a couple of factors, most importantly the number of endpoints on your network, but also their physical location, capacity and bandwidth.

No. Clear Blue Security™ does not require dedicated hardware. The Master Agent must be installed on a server, but this server can easily be used for other tasks as well. It is not recommended to install on a server with a heavy workload though.

No. The agents will be distributed over the network from the Command Center.

The Command Center will not distribute agents to endpoints which are not connected to the network during the installation process. To remedy this there are two options:

• Wait until the endpoints in question are connected to the network and use the Command Center to distribute the agents.
• Use the Command Center to generate a MSI Installer package and perform a manual installation on the endpoints in question.
